Gilroy Garlic Festival Director Dies

The Monterey County Herald reports on the death of the executive director of the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

Richard Nicholls was involved with the Festival since it began in 1979. He was appointed executive director in 1986.

Nicholls was 60 and died of pancreatic cancer.
