Garlic vs Ducks?

Garlic has long had a reputation for deterring mosquitoes, slugs and other pests. But ducks?!?

The Chamisa Hills Golf and Country Club in Rio Rancho, N.M estimates that it suffers around $10,000 a year damage from ducks and other birds. So they've turned to garlic in an atempt to fend them off, spraying the greens and fairways.

Residents have complained that ducks are dying - the golf club denies that it's the fault of their garlic spray.
